Join us Thursday, May 23rd, at 10 am for a tour of the new Saint John’s Abbey Woodworking and Saint John’s Abbey Organ Builders Studio. Located on the campus of Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, the studio honors a 150-year tradition of woodworking merged with the recent addition of a world-renown organ builder workshop. Learn from Fr. Lew Grobe, O.S.B., and Ryan Kutter, Lead Woodworker, about the history of woodshop, its vision for the future, and about the addition of one of the premiere organ manufacturers in the world, Pasi Organ Builders.
Following the tour, gather for lunch-on-your own at The Refectory on the campus of Saint John’s University (Great Hall; 2850 Abbey Plaza). Be sure to bring your own cash or other form of payment. Cost for lunch is about $15.
